Let There Be Light
Statement of Faith
At Let There Be Light, everything we create flows from our faith in Jesus Christ and our commitment to the truth of Scripture. Our mission is to bring clarity, restoration, and transformation to individuals, teams, and organizations by aligning life and leadership with God’s design.
While our foundation is unapologetically Christian, our invitation is wide. Anyone, regardless of faith background, religious affiliation, doubt, or uncertainty, is welcome, invited, and encouraged to engage with Let There Be Light resources. You do not have to share our beliefs to benefit from the principles, tools, and frameworks we offer.
We believe truth brings freedom, light dispels darkness, and growth happens in spaces marked by both conviction and compassion. What follows is the theological foundation that shapes who we are and how we serve.
GOD
We believe in one God- eternal, unchanging, and faithful- the great “I AM.” He is the Creator and Ruler of all things. God exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are distinct yet perfectly one, equal in power and glory.

JESUS
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Son of Man- fully God and fully human. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life and revealed the heart of the Father to the world. Out of love, He gave His life on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sin. Three days later, He rose from the grave, defeating sin and death once and for all. He now reigns at the right hand of the Father and will return again. Through Him, restoration is possible. Through Him, we are made new.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer from the moment of salvation. He is co-equal with the Father and the Son and is God present with us today.
The Holy Spirit comforts, strengthens, and guides us. He gives us understanding of spiritual truth and empowers us to live the life God has called us to live. He equips each of us with unique gifts to serve others and continue the work Jesus began. He is also at work in the hearts of people, drawing them toward God.
As followers of Jesus, we desire to live daily under His leading and direction.
John 14:16–17, John 16:7–13, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 5:25
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us. Though written by human authors, it was inspired and supernaturally guided by the Holy Spirit. Because it comes from God, we believe it is true, trustworthy, and without error. It is the foundation for our faith, our lives, and the way we follow Jesus.

HUMAN BEINGS
We believe every person is created in the image of God with inherent dignity, value, and purpose. We were made for relationship with Him and with one another.
Yet sin has fractured that relationship. While we carry great capacity for good, we are also marked by brokenness. Sin separates us from God and from the fullness of life He intended. Left to ourselves, we cannot repair that separation. We need rescue.

THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the body of Christ- a community of believers brought together as part of God’s redemptive plan for the world. Jesus is the head of the Church, and we exist to continue the work He began. God has uniquely gifted each of us to serve, build up, and bless one another. The Church is not a gathering of perfect people. It is a family of imperfect, growing people united by grace. Together, we seek to love God, love others, and make Christ known.

SALVATION
We believe salvation is a gift of grace from God. It cannot be earned through good works or self-improvement. It is received by faith- by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s provision for our forgiveness.
When we turn from living for ourselves and place our faith in Jesus, we are saved. In that moment, eternal life begins- a restored relationship with God that starts now and continues forever.
Romans 6:23, Ephesians 1:5–10, John 14:6, John 1:12, Titus 3:5–7, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1–2
ETERNITY
We believe that every person was created to live forever. We will either live eternally separated from God because of sin or eternally united with Him through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and Hell are real. Eternal life with God is a gift made possible through Jesus Christ.
